Within her stall, Daisy exhibited a perplexing pattern – pacing to and fro, emitting anxious whinnies, and emphatically pounding her hooves against the ground. These manifestations of distress were unmistakable. Mrs. Johnson, well-versed in equine matters, recognized the familiarity of this behavior.
A suspicion arose: perhaps Daisy was in labor. This conjecture was rather extraordinary considering Daisy had displayed no indications of pregnancy.
