Affection for Amphibians

We’ve each experienced the pang of departure, met with our pet’s pleading eyes, as if silently begging, “Stay with me, please!” Occasionally, the guilt of parting becomes too much to bear, compelling us to explore creative methods of including our pets in our outings.

In this instance, a woman grappled with such emotions concerning her pet lizard, burdened by a substantial dose of separation anxiety. The little reptile enjoyed its cozy perch atop her head and shoulders, yet it’s hard not to wonder if fellow Walmart patrons were taken aback by this unconventional sight.
