You probably remember Paul Maracarelli wearing a gray Verizon jacket and horn-rimmed glasses on Verizon commercials. He was the famous test man in those ‘Can you hear me now?’ commercials for Verizon Wireless. The company allocated investments for actor’s services from 2002 until 2011.

Other than his stint on Verizon commercials, Marcarelli was also one of the theater group Mobius Group Productions founders. He performed and produced the play The Adding Machine, which garnered tons of praise in the New York International Fringe Festival. The actor was also a founding member of the production company Table Ten Films. He also served as a screenwriter on films such as The Green and Clutter. The latter won Best Film in 2013’s Harlem International Film Festival.
