Although Cara Delevingne and artist St. Vincent haven’t dated in years, their relationship continues to generate a lot of talks. Why was Delevingne’s romance with Clark so well-publicized?

The relationship between them was undoubtedly over-publicized for a reason. In 2012 and 2013, Delevingne was at the center of a hyper-feminine degree, walking in two Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows in a row. Her romance with Clark and other women effectively broke the spell, challenging public perceptions of the modeling industry. She instilled confidence in her supporters when they made their relationship public. Her romance helped legitimize all types of couples in Hollywood and beyond. She even tweeted back in 2015 that she was “very much in love.” Yet, as we all know, some good things never last. Still, Delevingne and Clark remained friends after they split in 2016. As we see it, they are still on good terms to this day.
