During the 2017 Academy Awards, hosts Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty were given the honor of presenting the Best Picture Oscar, with Moonlight and La La Land being the main contenders. The two then announced that La La Land had won, prompting the cast and creators of the film to celebrate onstage. However, it appeared that the hosts had received the runner-up envelope, and Moonlight was credited the award instead. An awkward scene ensued as the cast of the film went onstage to accept the prize from the cast of La La Land. Fortunately, both groups were civil and congratulated each other on their accomplishments.

Kanye Cutting Tay Tay Off

Among the many music artists in the industry, Kanye West and Taylor Swift are near the top of the food chain. While Swift clearly enjoyed her moment during her acceptance speech, everyone was taken aback when Kanye West walked up to the stage and approached Swift.
